What we’re drinking this weekend

-Lucy Shanker, Roots N Blues Intern

Well, folks. The moment we’ve been waiting for is here. I mean, literally every time you read a blog post there is a ticking timer counting down to the festival. And we could not be more excited because it’s festival time!

If you’ve been to Roots N Blues, or any festival for that matter, you know there is usually a lot of booze involved. Like, a lot. One thing we pride ourselves on here at RNBNBBQ is our incredible selection of craft beers, wines and drinks. So, we’ve compiled a list of all your drink options and their prices, so you can start mentally preparing now.

Beer, beer, and more beer!

Would it really be Roots N Blues without some incredible craft beers? We’ll have brews from Logboat Brewery, Broadway Brewery and Bur Oak Brewery — three of our sponsors. You can choose from our unbelievably good selection, and you’ll be hard pressed to drink a bad beer. And don’t worry, if you’re into Bud Beers, we have those too. You can grab a nice, cold Bud, Bud Light or Busch Light. These beers will range from $6 to $8, and they’ll be either 12 or 16oz.

The Quadruple M’s

Beer not your thing? Good thing we have tons of other options for you. This weekend, you can grab Mixed Drinks, Margaritas, Bloody Marys or Moscow Mules. Notice that those are all plural. These drinks will be made from high-quality liquor, and they’ll add that extra kick to top-off your incredible weekend of music. Mixed drinks are $8, the rest are listed at $10.

And they say shiver-y is dead

If you couldn’t guess from the incredibly witty title, you can also get one of Macadoodle’s classic Shivers. These slushy-like drinks can be made from vodka, rum, schnapps, you get the picture. Plus, these irresistible slushies come in a variety of flavors — you won’t be able to get enough of ‘em! These will be listed at $10 each.

Quit whinin’, we have wine too!

Red or white. Dry or sweet. You can get this weekend at Roots N Blues N BBQ. And don’t worry, these are fine wines. No bagged wine here! You can get a glass for $7 dollars. Or, if you’re feelin’ bold, get a bottle for $30!
