There’s nothing quite like the experience of hearing one of your favorite bands jam to a song you know and love. Covers are wholesome and reaffirming; they paint a song in a brand new light while simultaneously reinvigorating the pre-established appreciation for it. Whenever I hear a band cover a song I love, it creates this unparalleled connection that’s almost indescribable. In the least poetic way possible, it’s like, “They listen to that song?!
