I guess this is what happens when siblings don’t bicker; brother-and-sister led team The Oh Hellos are returning this February with their fourth studio album titled Eurus.
The Roots N Blues alums’ past work has been influenced by C.S. Lewis, Sufjan Stevens & Fleet Foxes, yet their work still maintains a completely individual sound. Perhaps this is do to what NPR Music described as their “clown car” of a band. Although the leading siblings sing in seemingly soft tones, Tyler and Maggie Heath are often backed by this large ensemble that transforms their sound into a captivating, full-scale performance.
So naturally, when the Texas-born sibling team graced the stage at the 2016 Roots N Blues N BBQ Festival, it felt like a whimsical dream. The Oh Hellos continue to master their genre-bending style, which is why we’re so excited for the upcoming album.
