Don’t miss The Roots N Blues N BBQ Kick-off at 5pm, Thursday, September 25 in The District. Come out and get in the Roots N Blues mood while checking out the live music and downtown area restaurants and retailers.

Also enjoy specials and discounts from featured restaurants and retailers in the District all weekend long. Look for the Roots N Blues N BBQ guitar pick logo in the windows of downtown businesses and ask about The Roots N Blues N BBQ discount they are offering.

Volunteering at Roots N Blues Festival is a great way to make new friends while working side-by-side with other like-minded individuals who share your appreciation for good music. Contrary to what you might think, preparing and safely running a festival requires an incredible amount of hands on work. In 2018, for example, we had to hire lighting towers to finish building the main stage late at night before the actual start. Without the help of volunteers we would have been in quite a bit of trouble then.
