Booker T

As a child, Booker T. sang gospel in church and was classically trained on the piano. His early musical education flourished as he grew, mastering more instruments—on keys, brass, and reeds. His genre-crossing sound fuses R&B, soul, Funk, and the electric blues, which he has recorded with artists such as Bobby Darin and John Lee Hooker. Additionally, he has produced for numerous artists including Bill Withers’ signature Ain’t No Sunshine album and Willie Nelson’s 1978 multi-platinum blockbuster Stardust.
