If you're coming to Columbia, why not come a day early and stay an extra day? The day before the festival, Thursday, Oct. 2, the “We Always Swing” Jazz Series presents the Annual Downtown Columbia “Jazz, Wine & Beer” Pub Crawl a fundraiser with 16 venues, food, wine & beer samplings and music everywhere capped off by the Post-Crawl party with Gumbohead at The Blue Note. For more info, please click here. The day after the festival, Sunday, Oct. 5, there will be a half-marathon with proceeds benefiting Central Missouri Community Action. Wilson¹s Half-Marathon Challenge has raised more than $40,000 over the last four years. An estimated 300 runners will compete in the full 13.1 mile race, and 450 three-person teams will complete the relay. For more info, please click here.
